Acme Tel is seeking an experienced A2P SMS Global Account Manager to focus on high level client partnerships. As the Account Manager you will be responsible for increasing revenues with current partners and securing commercially, viable SMS agreements with Messaging Customers and Suppliers (Operators/MNOs/direct wholesale market players and A2P SMS aggregators), giving high level end to end account management and business development.
Ideally have experience in a international account management environment within international telecoms working with large global accounts and experience within the Carrier/Wholesale arena with excellent knowledge of A2P SMS.
• You have a Bachelor or equivalent higher education/relevant experience
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience, we will prefer candidates with experience from VoIP telecom or A2P SMS industry.
• Have proven strong account management, negotiation & communication skills; Result oriented with a strong analytical mind
• Solid experience and proven track record of managing and developing high level clients
• Proven time management and organizational skills and ability to be self-directed
• Strong analytical, time management, problem solving prioritization and planning skills

• Accountability and responsibility for maintaining and growing business in at least 10+ global A2P carriers.
• Forecasting revenues and margins for upcoming quarter and next year.
• Developing at least 1 new profitable destination in A2P portfolio with revenues exceeding at least 10K USD.
• Develop customer and industry networks in region as part of the global team strategy
• Penetrate and pursue opportunities for account growth with new and existing customers
• Engage in negotiations of rates for A2P SMS delivery to various destinations for different routing classes. Drive the interconnection on the A2P interworking for both originations and terminations
• Build inventory of routes to fulfil A2P SMS market demand by working with carriers, MNOs and aggregators
• Identify new business opportunities for A2P SMS wholesale market
• Work closely with other functional support departments to review progress/problems and ensure follow-through on revenue tracking and reporting issues
• Work closely with the product team on the product development in meeting customer requirements
• Lead all aspects of the sales process, calling upon others to assist in solution development and proposal delivery, as needed, or as directed by management
