Expert Controlling and Financial Performance Retail

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing to the Management controlling & performance information and analysis/explanations of the results of Company activity in order to support operational management decisions;
  • Ensure harmonized Controlling & Reporting processes and procedures in line with standards and procedures;
  • Develop together with all Business Units (BU) Management Strategy/ Forecast / Budgets / Mid-term plan, etc;
  • Propose corrective measures in case of negative actual/budget deviations;
  • Analysis and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise business results in terms of profitability, performance against budget and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the business;
  • Participation as representative of the controlling service at business unit level projects, as well as company level special projects;
  • Prepares planning packages (pre-run strategy, Strategy, MTP, BG, Scenarios): P&L, KPIs, Financial result, CAPEX, Cash flow, etc.;
  • Perform evaluation of Marketing initiatives, campaigns, promotions as well evaluation of investments projects and Investment planning & budgeting;
  • Supporting the administration of the TM1 database and conducts actual data input in TM1;
  • Preparation of various operational monthly, annual, weekly, ad-hoc reports as required to support local management decisions and to fully understand operational results (variance and trend analysis, benchmarking analysis etc.).
  • Participation in the monitoring and control of company costs;
  • Assist in drawing internal company procedures in compliance with the corporate standard;
  • Continuous improvement of the reporting process (Cost centers, Cost categories, etc.)
  • Etc.     

Requirements:

  • IT-literate (High knowledge of MS-Office, in particular Excel, PPT), SAP knowledge – would be an advantage;
  • Knowledge of cost accounting;
  • Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
  • Educational requirements: University Degree in economics or any comparable education;
  • Work experience in Economic/Finance field: At least 5 years of experience in Finance, preferably in Corporate Finance;
  • Good communication skills and intercultural awareness;
  • Languages: Fluency in English, Romanian, Russian;
  • Flexibility and willingness for business travel;
  • Computer literate - high knowledges;
  • Driving license cat. B.
