Receptionist

Heritage International School is looking for professionals who are passionate about working with children and are excited about making a difference in their lives.
The Trilingual Receptionist is the gate-keeper of the Heritage facility, providing a warm, welcoming and inviting atmosphere for students, staff, parents, and visitors. The receptionist also completes administrative tasks and supports the administration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
a) Communication
- Responds to staff, parent, student or public inquiries to provide appropriate information
- Answers telephone to screen, transfer, respond to inquiries or take messages, give the information about the school
- Manages school correspondence
b) Campus Safety
- Monitors people coming in and going out of the front door to provide the necessary security of our campus and safety of the children, parents, and staff.
- Follows all Safeguarding Policies and Procedures as required by Administration
c) Public/Community Relations
- Provides tours for prospective parents, works with jurisconsult and Accountant Office
d) Administrative Support
- Assists Director, Business Manager, Academic Director, and Staff in the smooth operation of the school and school activities. Assists with center publications, students records and various reports or forms
- Schedules appointments and meetings, which may include reserving conference rooms and facilities, organizing materials, sending out meeting notices, arranging for catering services, and maintaining calendars
- Prints materials/ resources for teachers, students or parents
e) Databases
- Registers information about new students
- Updates information in the existing database

REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Romanian and Russian
- Prior job-related experience
- Excellent customer service and positive attitude
- Team player, collaborative
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in use of computers and software
- Knowledge of child care rules and regulations
- Keeping confidentiality
- High level of professionalism and warmth
- Ability to carry out tasks with accuracy, efficiency, reliability, and attention to detail
- Strong time management and personal organization skills
- Ability to learn new software systems (e.g. enrollment system, student information system, etc.)
