Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools
- Collaborate with software developers and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and design effective test strategies
- Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects in a clear and concise manner
- Continuously monitor and improve the automation test suite to ensure maximum test coverage and efficiency
- Participate in sprint planning, test case reviews, and requirement discussions to contribute to the overall quality of the product
- Work closely with the development team to reproduce, debug, and resolve identified issues
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in automation testing and share best practices with the team
- Contribute to the enhancement of the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to support automated testing.
About you:
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in automation testing for software products
- Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, or similar languages used in automation scripting
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with remote teams
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus.
