Senior Product Data Anayst
We are looking for a Product Data Analyst to further our use of data to drive product decisions. Working with cross-functional teams composed of product managers, designers, UX research and engineers, you’ll apply your expertise to deliver customer & product insights and help shape the products we deliver to our customers.
You will leverage rich user data using cutting-edge technology to see your insights turned into real products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for using data to drive business decisions and will be comfortable working with large datasets.
Responsibilities:
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify key metrics and KPIs to measure product success
- Work with engineering and data teams to capture relevant data elements for measurement with data capture tools like Segment
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure data integrity and consistency across systems
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to provide accurate and timely insights with tools like dbt and dagster
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate insights to key stakeholders using tools like Amplitude and Tableau
- Perform data analysis using tools such as Amplitude and Snowflake to identify trends, insights and root causes
- Continuously monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Participate in A/B testing and experimentation to optimize user experience and drive growth
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably in an ecommerce or technology company
- Proficient in using data analysis and dashboarding tools such as Amplitude and Tableau
- Proficient in data transformation with dbt
- Strong experience with data modeling and querying using SQL
- Efficient in handling large volume of data (in Terabytes), preferably in Snowflake or other cloud-based databases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and remotely in a cross-functional team
- Strong experience working with agile teams and tools like confluence and jira
- Experience with Dagster, airflow, dbt cloud preferred
- Experience with Machine Learning modeling & MLflow a plus
